#79 rc shell globbing broken on OpenBSD after 4.8

Reported by stanleylieber

On versions of OpenBSD after 4.8-RELEASE, rc shell globbing fails:

% sed 1q /etc/motd OpenBSD 4.9-current (GENERIC.MP) #65: Mon Jun 6 14:30:48 MDT 2011 % ls unix.gif unix.gif % ls u* ls: u*: No such file or directory

Shell globbing on OpenBSD 4.8-RELEASE works as expected; compiling rc on OpenBSD snapshots generated shortly after the release all the way 4.9-RELEASE and now on post-4.9-RELEASE snapshots produces the behavior detailed above.

Could someone provide some details on the the fix ?

On up to date i386 OpenBSD current, rc shell globbing seems to be still broken.

I can confirm globbing is still broken on OpenBSD 5.0. Please consider re-opening this bug, or at least share how you fixed it.
